Piney River Ranch Styled Shoot

When we were asked if we would like to be a part of a styled shoot at Piney River Ranch, the immediate answer was YES! Not only was the styled shoot with one of our favorite Colorado wedding and event planners, Sweetly Paired, but the venue is absolutely gorgeous. Located 12 miles outside of Vail, Colorado up a winding dirt road lies a slice of Colorado mountain paradise.

Jagged mountain peaks and a serene lake create a breathtaking backdrop for the deck and event pavilions. There are one large and one small pavilion available for private events with a large deck for an outdoor cocktail hour, dinner or wedding ceremony.

The styled shoot was designed for a more corporate event feel, but would fit any rustic Colorado wedding theme as well! The small pavilion was the perfect place for our antler chandeliers and western lounge set up. We are very grateful that the local dog was willing to be our model as well. =) Navy blue linens were paired with our Salt and Samba plates and gold flatware to create a bohemian looking table setting.

The large pavilion was staged with a decadent charcuterie board and our elegant crystal chandeliers. We loved how the crystal chandeliers dressed up the rustic space.

The focal point of the shoot was the large deck. The space was equipped with our whiskey barrel bar in addition to a chic cigar and dessert table. Whiskey barrel cocktail tables and farm tables provided plenty of outdoor seating.

Piney River Ranch has activities for all ages- hiking, fishing, canoeing, SUPing, horse back riding, you name it! Guests can reserve private glamping tents or cabins to stay on the property before or after events as well. All of this, combined with the absolutely stellar views make this the perfect Colorado corporate retreat or wedding venue.
