A Mountaintop Aspen Wedding in Summer

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, aka the unofficial start to Colorado ski season, we wanted to share Elissa and Michael’s laid-back, yet sophisticated Aspen wedding. For all you avid skiers and snowboarders out there, this one if for you!

 

The ceremony took place in August, which meant snowy peaks on Aspen Snowmass and green grass in town. Friends and family gathered casually atop the mountain for the ski resort ceremony. The backdrop was filled with sprawling Rocky Mountain views and a very cool ski arch!

After their mountaintop Aspen wedding ceremony, the real fun began- the bride changed outfits, slipped on her ski boots and headed to the reception on skis. Who knew the skiing could be this good in August?!

The ceremony took place in a large wedding tent with green grass below, which complimented the green and pink floral arrangements. We loved the couple’s choice of white tablecloths with our x back farm chairs. It was the perfect combination of a traditional elegant wedding feel and rustic Colorado vibes.

That theme continued throughout the space with our axis lounge sets. One accented by our rustic red boxes and coffee table; the other with our classic white clawfoot coffee table and side tables.

Overall, we felt that Elissa and Michael’s Aspen/Snowmass wedding perfectly embodied the spirit of Colorado, while preserving that traditional elegant wedding ambiance. Absolutely perfect!
