A Year in Review: 2020
You may have already heard the news but we’ve been awarded “Best of Weddings” by The Knot two years running! In honor of this incredible accolade, we would like to take this time to look back at some of the beautiful weddings from this year and share their heart-warming stories. As a wise man (Professor Dumbledore) once said, “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light.”
Abby + Josh – Breckenridge, Colorado
It was Abby’s dream to get married at her parent’s home in Breckenridge, Colorado, and it was a dream that did in fact come true despite the challenges facing all couples this year. With sprawling mountain views and a picturesque creek flowing along the property line, it was pretty easy to create a magical and intimate setting for this couple’s big day.

In collaboration with Loveleigh Weddings and Events, the couple opted for an overall rustic-chic aesthetic. For the ceremony, less was more, allowing for the breathtaking surroundings to take the leading role. Abby and Josh chose our wooden x-back chairs and had a matching custom hexagonal arch brought in by the floral team, Sara Mica Floral Design.

For the reception, it was all about encompassing the gorgeous views, so the couple chose a clear top NaviTrac tent with all clear sidewalls and a full festival light package. In line with the rustic-chic vision, guests dined at our rustic farm tables that were adorned with fun eclectic accents such as our flowing white, Graceful Runners, our pink water goblets, and marble chargers!

Alyssa + Kevin – Larkspur Restaurant in Vail, Colorado
Alyssa and Kevin were one of many couples who not only were displaced from their original venue, but who had to dramatically cut their guest list. As you can imagine it was a stressful ordeal, but it was their wedding planner, Kayle Walker Burns from Petal and Bean who managed to bring it all together in the 11th hour.

Alyssa and Kevin ultimately celebrated their wedding at Larkspur Restaurant in Vail. If you are a follower of ours then you are no stranger to Larkspur’s ah-mazing ceremony location, overlooking the Gore Mountain Range.

The couple and their nearest and dearest dined and danced responsibly with plenty of social distancing room in one of our 40 x 100 NaviTrac tents outfitted with our hardwood Strata Floor and a full festival light package. Also looking to create a rustic-chic feel, the couple used a mix of rectangular and round banquet tables with crisp, white linens, and wooden x-back chairs with matching white chair pads.

Stacey + Foster – Larkspur Restaurant in Vail, Colorado
Stacey and Foster were subject to many changes out of their control leading all the way up to the wedding day! Despite the twists and turns, everything turned out to be absolutely perfect! They, too, were in our 40 x 100 Navitrac tent with Strata Flooring and it may look very familiar because it was, in fact, the same tent used by Abby and Kevin a day later.

Going for a more wedding glam look and feel, the couple partnered with Gemini Event Planning and Enjoue Studio to create this very Pinterest worthy design. And, this custom Vail mountain place card board was certainly a 2020 highlight!

Abigail + Hunter – Piney River Ranch in Vail, Colorado
Although you can never go wrong with wedding white, it is so fun as a vendor to see couples go bold with their color palettes! And, that is exactly what Abigail and Hunter did. I mean just look at this jaw-dropping floral arbor compliments of Vintage Magnolia!

The couple integrated a mix of table styles and sizes, but the bold pops of forest green and flirty pinks were found throughout. We love how they mixed our pink water goblets with jewel-toned napkins and gold flatware!

Chloe + Ronnie – Copper Mountain, Colorado
Chloe and Ronnie absolutely nailed their micro wedding style! We know you’ve seen the farm tables and x-back chairs paired together many a time, but it never gets old and lends itself to endless decor opportunities! In this case, the couple really played up the gold accents. They chose our Velo gold brushed flatware and Forte gold glassware collections and paired them beautifully with sage, textured Sonoma napkins and elegant floral table runners.

Kelly + Peter – Larkspur Restaurant in Vail, Colorado
What can we say, but pictures are a thousand words and Kelly and Peter’s wedding was a sight to behold! Also held at the amazing Larkspur Restaurant in Vail, Colorado, Kelly and Peter opted for a more simple and traditional ceremony style, selecting white-washed x-back chairs and elegant floral touches.

For the reception tent, however, it was all in the details. The overall structure was our 40 x 80 clear top NaviTrac tent with our hardwood Strata floor. The ceiling was outfitted with a combination of both festival and twinkle lights, a full sheer white draping package and crystal chandeliers.

Below, the couple used a combination of farm tables and round banquet tables with blush pink table linens. Gold was the metal accent of choice found in our Velo gold brushed flatware, and glass gold rimmed charger plates. Guests took their seats in our wooden x-back chairs with white chairs pads and the couple dined in one of our ivory loveseats. Aside from the masks, it almost felt like a world away from a pandemic, but to ensure that all vendors were complying with local public safety regulations, we teamed up with the bride’s family to create a custom plexi-glass stage barrier that would allow for the wedding, white dance floor to adjoin the stage. Pandemic or not, this was a wedding for the books!

Lauren + Mack – Vail, Colorado
Lauren and Mack tied the knot surrounded by their closest friends and family at the Vail Interfaith Chapel. Aside from some simple decor such as our aisle runner and flowers, of course, it was the power of the ceremony and their faith that shone the brightest.
The reception on the other hand was downright spectacular! The wedding party dined and danced at the Four Seasons whose ballroom was transformed into a luxurious, secret garden! Lavish floral arrangements were everywhere, even on the ceiling! Bare Root Flora are masters at their craft! To ensure that the rest of the decor didn’t make the space feel busy, the couple chose clear Chiavari chairs, white, textured table linens, and an elegant gold monogram for the white dance floor. This is what wedding dreams are made of!

Lauren + Ryan – Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek, Colorado
Lauren and Ryan, too, felt the stress of being displaced from their initial venue. Thankfully the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch was able to provide them with a new home! For this couple, creating the air of a more casual reception space was key, so they transformed our 4 0x 40 clear top NaviTrac tent with festival lights into a breezy and beautiful cocktail lounge. Many of their guests weren’t able to attend due to this year’s dilemma, so they installed a TV to invite guests to join in on the festivities from afar!

Melissa + Steven – Larkspur Restaurant in Vail, Colorado
Yet another beautiful 2020 Larkspur Restaurant wedding! Melissa and Steven brought their nuptials to a whole other level. The overall theme: classic, wedding white. Vintage Magnolia outdid themselves with an all white, hydrangea arbor that was certainly the focal point of the ceremony. The couple also had an artist on-site paint their ceremony celebration in real time!

Cocktail hour boasted several cozy hangouts like this white lounge featuring our new, classic white bar and gold glass bar shelves! Oh… and live acrobats!

Instead of tenting the lawn, the couple and their guests dined like royalty in the restaurant itself. If you look closely, you can spot our new Louis loveseat at the head table!

Sarah + Philip – Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek, Colorado
Tented receptions are surely our favorite but we know we are biased. 🙂 Sarah and Philip opted for a NaviTrac tent with a special twist, a fabric liner! A trend that we are starting to see come back, a fabric liner consists of large pieces of fabric that are custom fit to the tent tops, giving that fully draped effect without having to rig individual pieces of drapery. Paired with our antler chandeliers, some beautiful textured table linens, and aspen decor touches, this was certainly a 10/10!

Dina + Danny – Little Mountain Lodge in Breckenridge, Colorado
Dina and Danny round out this round-up with their intimate and cozy tented wedding in Breckenridge, Colorado. As we saw with many of our couples this year, hard decisions had to be made in regards to who ultimately could be on the guest list. It was at the Little Mountain Lodge where Danny and Dina said “I do” in the company of closed loved ones. In true mountain fashion, the couple kept the ceremony natural and rustic, using our mahogany padded chairs for seating.

For the reception, we set-up a Navitrac tent with a combination of solid and window sidewalls, and festival lighting. The couple’s overall decor was practical and chic with round banquet tables, white table linens, and gold charger plates. Our most favorite touch, though, was the free-standing light canopy that we created for their outdoor dance space.
